Mirage Distribution is a WDA licensed and GDP compliant pharmaceutical wholesaler, regulated by the MHRA, and one of the key suppliers of both pharmaceuticals and non-pharmaceutical products to large pharmacy chains, full and short-line wholesaler across Great Britain.

We have a robust supply chain, supported by key relationships with UK manufacturers and EU partners to enable us to provide on time deliveries at high service levels.

We are one of the key UK industry importers of grey branded medical consumables, urology, stoma, diabetic and other non-pharmaceutical products such as medical nutritional drinks and medical devices. We are now planning for launching parallel imported medicines through our supply-chain network.

Whether the requirement is for long term supply of a product or to source a product to meet market shortage, Mirage Distribution are able to use our network of suppliers to efficiently meet customer requirements at competitive prices and supply under GDP conditions.

Re-Packaging

Mirage Distribution has over 10 years' experience in repackaging/relabelling medical nutritional, wound care, ostomy, and urology products, along with blood glucose test strips, needles and eye drops, products which fall into the medical device category. We create the artwork, track any changes to UK and EU packs and leaflets and complete licencing/TM requirements to successfully repackage and distribute within the GB market, updating whenever necessary as part of a managed regulatory system. 2021 has also seen the launch of Mirage Pharma and the business is preparing to repackage pharmaceutical products to place parallel import medicines into the GB supply chain.

All our suppliers are carefully selected and must undergo our internal due diligence & compliance checks (as per GDP requirements) as well as on-site audits (where necessary) to ensure that they meet our strict quality and compliance standards required to operate legally & ethically within our heavily regulated industry.

Regulatory Affairs

Mirage Distribution holds a Wholesale Dealers Authorisation (WDA) from the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and has a robust regulatory team consisting of, two Responsible Persons, Quality Assurance Department, Production Manager, Quality Control, Regulatory & Licencing Specialist, Site Manager, and a contract QP who specialises in Quality Systems and management thereof. We comply with full GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) codes of practice for the activities we undertake. Patient safety is at the heart of all that we do, this means not only meeting our regulatory obligations, but innovating beyond, something which is part of our core strategy. We are licenced to import, repack, and relabel non-pharmaceutical lines. Mirage Distribution is committed to using developed technology to increase regulatory compliance, processing efficiency, and increase patient safety.

At a governance level, we have built a supportive ethical culture with an emphasis on ethical leadership, speak up mechanisms and monitoring. We have an external management team who support the Directors and take on responsibilities for executing part of the longer-term growth strategy.

All our products are sourced from verified suppliers and manufacturers ensuring that the products have been manufactured according to internationally accepted standards under Good Manufacturing and Good Distribution Practice Guidelines.

Marketing

Marketing has been a key feature of our business from the early days. The business has developed its own home-style of supporting sales through marketing activities including:

  • Product packaging and brand design development.
  • Social Media planning and execution.
  • Banner/Billboard design (for buses/tubes etc).
  • Brochure design and printing.
  • Website design and coding.
  • APP development to support sales, product information and product trials.
  • QR code development and placement.
  • Google AdWords approved engineers for Google Merchant Centre. Keyword and Budget control analysis.
  • Search Engine marketing, keyword analysis and development for improved keyword ranking (organic and paid for).
  • Content development, blogs / microsites / product descriptions etc.
  • Retail store marketing including in-store demonstrations and staff training.

Mirage Distribution actively supports healthcare brands/products in the VMS and nutritional drink space with all the above services. We are also specialized in launching EU, US and UK brands in the UK market under a distribution agreement.

Software Development

Mirage Distribution has been developing software for more then 5 years. Our software engineers are in-house and manage all pre-development, development, testing and launch phases, overseen by project managers. We primarily focus on developing GMDP software to supporting various processes within the pharmaceutical industry and marketing and APP development to support brands interact more closely with their customers and conduct clinical or product trials. The division continues to work on innovative solutions for customers ranging from operating modules for HMRC customs processing, automated product analysis, Quality System Manager and automated GMP labelling APP. As a business division, we are unique as we understand the source problem quickly and can propose and execute solutions which are validated and compliant to industry and regulatory standards. Regulatory automation to achieve highest levels of compliance is a key objective in Mirage's growth strategy. We are happy that other GMDP companies are also interested in using our software to support their business strategies.
